About This Spot

Nestled just beyond the lively bustle of Mirqab Mall, Yemeni House quietly welcomes you into a space where tradition and everyday life blend comfortably. The restaurant unfolds with an inviting simplicity—a humble, unpretentious setting where the pace is easy but attentive, and the soft hum of quiet conversations feels like a gentle backdrop to a genuine shared experience. It’s a spot that feels like a pause, a moment to savor something deeply rooted and thoughtfully prepared.

Here, the warmth comes not only from the dishes but from the way each meal is presented: fresh, richly spiced, and never rushed. The aroma of slow-cooked meats and freshly baked Yemeni bread sets the stage for a meal that unfolds like a story told with care. Whether it’s the tender lamb, carefully oven-roasted chicken, or the comforting bowl of flavorful soup that arrives first to invite you in, every element speaks to a heritage that honors family meals and heartfelt hospitality.

The atmosphere is relaxed yet purposeful—the kind of place where regulars feel known and newcomers quickly find a sense of belonging. Despite its straightforward décor, there’s a comforting informality that invites you to sit back, loosen the ties of a busy day, and be present with the simple joys of good company and honest food. Parking can require a little patience during peak hours, a small trade-off for an experience deeply appreciated by those craving authentic Yemeni flavors away from the hurried pace of city life.

Yemeni House offers more than a meal; it’s a quietly resonant moment of cultural connection, where every bite encourages a deeper appreciation for the subtle dance of spices, textures, and time-honored cooking methods. It’s a place to discover—not just food, but the rhythms of a tradition alive in the heart of Qatar.

The best Yamni/Khaleeji food in Doha! Food is always freshly cooked, the taste is just perfect, staff is very welcome and polite, preparation time is very short, location is great, valet service (most likely free). Zurbian is their best dish, also the liver is very delicious! Their bread is very delicious but don't let it cool off. The free soup is awesome! The only downside is that it is hard to find a parking spot (I've never used their valet service) and they don't offer diet drinks. The price is very responsible!

Came for lunch after a meeting, was lucky with a parking space outside. Restaurant is simple inside.... But the food was amazing. The soup was so good, but was filling me up, and wanted space for the naib6. The lamb was flavoursome, not too much fat, and nice and moist. I was so full, and couldn't finish it all! Would definitely reccomend!

Delicious Yemeni food! I ordered the liver and zourbyan chicken—both were tasty, but the crunchy bread were the highlights. The soup served before the meal was flavorful but a bit salty and oily. The place feels a bit old but still comfy. Parking can be tricky during dinner time.

Yemeni cuisine is simply great. We were not disappointed here either. The service was very good, everything went quickly and our waitress was very friendly. Absolutely recommendable .
